How to get Legally Binding Digital Signatures for your Invoices and Estimates

As a business owner you are well aware of the need to protect yourself and your company with legally binding contracts, and if you’re like me than you’ve done your best at getting your terms agreed and signed off before starting a project but have fallen short (more than not).

My issues were always about the process taking too long, processes that included snail mail or trying to get DocuSign to do its one job. Not having the process built into my site made me simply ignore it, considering their deposit enough, leaving me vulnerable.

1. Client is shown a button that a “Signature [is] Required”.
2. They’re redirected to an agreement where they enter their name, email, and digitally sign.
3. After agreeing to the terms they are directed back to the invoice for payment.
